User experience is how a person feels while interacting with a system. This includes a website, mobile application, desktop software, and can also include services.
User expectations are at an all-time high. You need to understand your customers, but also achieve your business goals. They should not be mutually exclusive. Smart user experience design starts by identifying the problem and guiding all ideas to solve that problem. We focus on the user’s journey throughout the entire experience in order to challenge assumptions and provide the user and your business just what they need.
While UX design is often relegated to the discussion of designing and building websites, mobile apps, and desktop software, it is also an important component in all areas of design including print design, logo design, and branding (at least in my opinion!). Knowing as much as possible about your target user/audience is important for all of your business and how it's represented in the world.
The discovery phase of a project is a collaborate process that brings together the users, the business, and the designer. Various methods are used to determine what the user needs and wants, including interviews, surveys, contextual inquiry and more.

We’ve narrowed down our ideas based on user research, but it’s still a bit nebulous. It’s time to get the details right! Just because your product or service is based on user research and human-centered design doesn’t mean that it has to be ugly. I strive for a product that looks as good as it works.

While I am not a programmer, I can get your project ready to hand off to one. Creating a prototype will allow us to test our ideas before you build them. It is much more inexpensive to test a prototype and work out any kinks than to do so with the final coded product. I can provide a style guide and design system to your programmers to help facilitate the implementation of the design.
